Instructions for Requesting a Check

Modified on Mon, 1 Jul at 4:22 PM

Step 1: Save Your Check Mailing Address
  • In your E-Wallet account, click on "Checks" in the left toolbar (https://ewallet.solpeople.com/Client/Cheques/Dashboard)
  • On the "Check Detail" step, provide the name you would like the check made out to and the address you would like it sent to, then click "Save". The page will refresh with your info saved.
    • Note: It is really important that you make sure ALL of the information is correct BEFORE you click "Save". You will not be able to click "Save" again.  Once you click "Save", the "Save" button will change to "Request Change" and your submitted mailing address will show in the form.

If you entered the correct address in your initial save, continue to step 2. However, if you need to change the check mailing address before requesting a check, please refresh the page and click the "Request Address Change" button. Then, send a request to support@solpeople.com with the correct name and mailing address (specify whether it is an individual or a company) and we will get the change submitted for you.

Step 2: Request Your Check
  • On the same "Checks" page (https://ewallet.solpeople.com/Client/Cheques/Dashboard), click the "Create Check" button to pop up the Account Transfer window.
  • In the Account Transfer window:
    • Review your available Balance and specify the Amount you would like to have sent to you via check.
    • Make sure that "Cheque" is selected in the To Account* field
    • Fill in the Reference Field (this will show as the name in the Transactions page i.e. sōl people
      Check 10/28
    • Review and confirm that the information you have entered is correct, then click the "Transfer" button.
At this point your check request has been submitted. You can confirm this by going to Checks > Status (https://ewallet.solpeople.com/Client/Cheques/ChequesStatus). Please allow 1-2 Business days for checks to be printed. Once it has been printed, the status will change to "Processed" and your check will be sent by Standard Mail.

If you did this correctly, then congratulations! Your first check is on its way to be printed and sent to you!
